Delegates who need jointing skills in "A spec" or URM 70 co-ax cable and SSI data link cable. Ideally Delegates should be familiar with the use of a Fluke and Megger and who have experience in basic cable jointing. They will preferably have successfully completed Basic Signalling Cable Jointing and Testing (JS1) Course.
On successful completion of the course the delegate will be able to:
Theory together with practical work which constitutes approximately 80% of the course and includes:
Practical assessments are included.
Hands on experience of joint and testing the different cable types. A simulated environment with the ability to have faults applied such that any errors made do not compromise safety of traffic. One to one training as required using a variety of training delivery methods. Practical assessments used to test the course and standards objectives.
