Who Should Attend

Delegates involved in the maintenance of AHBC and/or MCB Level Crossings. Ideally they should have completed the Basic Signalling 2 course or have some experience on level crossings. The main beneficiaries of this course will be those who are required to maintain level crossing installations, and wish to further their practical skills. This course does not cover control circuitry of AHBC or MCB.

Learning Approach

Course notes and relevant current line standards will be supplied to each delegate along with specimen documentation of their practical work. The course will be split 20% for theory and 80% for practical. Faulting and maintenance of an existing installation in accordance with the current signal maintenance specifications and line standards along with questions and a range of practical assessments will constitute the gathering of evidence.
