WHO SHOULD ATTEND
All personnel who have to enter a confined space.

OBJECTIVES
By the end of the session delegates will know how to:

• Undertake entry and escape from a confined space using escape breathing apparatus

• Risk evaluation
• Considerations for confined space working
• Safe systems of work
• Permit procedures – awareness
• Emergency procedures

LEARNING APPROACH
The theory part of the training will be delivered in a classroom environment, which will be tutor led, with support of a PowerPoint presentation, video and open discussion, followed by a practical session of using harnesses and lanyards, making the training 60% theory and 40% practical.
