WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Signalling technicians involved in first line maintenance and faulting of AC Track Circuits. Delegates should have knowledge of track circuits principles and basic fault finding skills.

OBJECTIVES
On successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Explain the operation and principles of single and double rail AC Track Circuits
• Carry out a Service “A” and “B” and describe any follow up action required
• Carry out a full test and describe any follow up action required
• Determine whether a failure is a wrong-side or right-side failure
• Locate a fault in a right-side failure systematically
• Replace specific items of AC Track Circuit equipment
• State the correct procedures to rectify a fault and reinstate the track circuit
