WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Testing staff already involved in the verification & functional testing of other types of track circuits who are now involved in the testing and commissioning of AC Track Circuits. Delegates should have ideally attended the SWT4 event.

OBJECTIVES
On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:
• Explain the operation and principles of Single and Double Rail AC Track Circuits
• Carry out a visual inspection and describe any follow up action required
• Carry out a full test and describe any follow up action required
• Locate a fault in a right-side failure systematically

LEARNING APPROACH
Classroom sessions, practical demonstrations and fault finding sessions on working track circuits.  A stimulated environment allows faults to be applied.
