WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Delegates whose work involves the maintenance or faulting any Clamp Lock point layout. Ideally delegates should have attended Basic Signalling Two and should be able to read circuit diagrams.

OBJECTIVES
On successful completion of the course the delegate will be able to:
• Recall the principles of operation of Clamp Locks
• Carry out maintenance on a Clamp Lock in accordance with the signal maintenance specifications
• Carry out first line faulting on a Clamp Lock in accordance with Network Rail documentation
• Carry out component replacement on a Clamp Lock in accordance with Network Rail documentation

• Component replacement

LEARNING APPROACH
Classroom theory sessions using visual aids and working models, practical demonstrations, with at least 70% of the course time will be made up of practical activities. Theoretical and practical assessments are included.
