WHO SHOULD ATTEND
People who want to maintain their IWA competency. Railway Group Standard GO/RT 3358 (Persons Responsible for Protecting Work On or Near the Line) requires employers to select delegates for this role based on documented processes to assess aptitude and prior experience.

OBJECTIVES
On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to demonstrate their ability to ensure their own protection by carrying out the duties of an Individual Working Alone as set out in Section B (ii) of the Rule Book and competence requirements of GO/RT 3358 Appendix C.

•  Appointment and responsibilities of IWA
•  Procedures when working alone
