WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Testing engineers who will lead testing activities. Ideally delegates will have successfully completed Module 3C Preparation of Testing and have a comprehensive understanding of wiring diagrams.
OBJECTIVES
• Lead a testing team in the functional testing of a ‘location’
• Oversee and test an alteration to an existing installation
• Determine the extent of testing required following a modification
CONTENT
• Preparing to perform testing
• Power supplies
• Circuit function testing of ‘location’ circuits
• Strap and function testing of ‘location’ circuits
• Changeovers and associated testing
• TFM exercise tests
• Through circuit testing (not SSI)
• Recording of the test results
• Reporting of irregularities found
LEARNING APPROACH
Classroom sessions with demonstrations and practical exercises. Individual practical based assessments are included.
